Now that you have you got your tattoo put on, the hard part is over. Now its just the process of healing it all out. So, here is what we recommend. You can do what ever has worked for you in the past but if you veer off from what we are telling you then we don’t really know what goes wrong if something goes wrong in the healing process.
Leave that bandage on for 1 to 24 hours
Removed bandage and wash with soap and water.
Preferably a fragrance free soap and in a pump, like liquid dial. But any soap is better than nothing.
Let it air dry. Rubbing it with a towel to dry it will only irritate it.
Once it is dry, use a fragrance free hand lotion. Rub the lotion in as you would normally use lotion. Pretty much anything that’s fragrance free will be fine. Just make sure that it’s fragrance free and not just unscented. Unscented lotion as fragrance to make it smell unscented. If you need to buy something, I recommend Vaseline intensive care advanced repair.
Repeat this 4 to 5 times a day for the first week. On the second week morning and night and sometime in between as needed.
If you fill your tattoo is drying out, you can use lotion on it anytime without having to wash it, but if you’re going to wash it, you need to put lotion on it.
