Colorado wildfire relief fundraiser

“When Colorado needed help, we wanted to do what we do best.” As a Colorado snowboarder, I watch our mountains receive far less snow than usual. As spring turned into summer with little rain, I couldn’t shake the feeling we were headed for a tough fire season. Unfortunately, that concern became reality. More than 200,000 acres have burned across Colorado, families displaced, homes and businesses destroyed, firefighters working tirelessly. I wanted to help, but didn’t know how. I’m just a tattoo artist. I draw pictures for a living. That’s when my friend Alyssa Rose stepped in. With her experience, dedication, and connections, she turned an idea I had into something real. She has truly been the backbone of this entire effort, and without her, this simply wouldn’t be happening. Together with Elk Creek Firehouse, we’re raising funds to support relief efforts. Join us Saturday, August 15th, from noon until 7. at True Blue Tattoo. We’ll be offering $40 flash tattoos, larger tattoo options, and we’ll gladly accept monetary donations. Walk-ins are welcome, first come, first serve. All proceeds will be distributed through Elk Creek Firehouse to support wildfire relief efforts. Colorado has given so much to all of us. This is our chance to give something back.
